Campbelltown City Council Australia Day Awards 2015
|This year, the Campbelltown City Australia Day Awards highlighted the wonderful work of some of our city’s unsung heroes, across four award categories. |
Officially announced on Australia Day, our 2015 Campbelltown City Citizen of the Year is Clint Gratten! Clint was nominated for his work within the community, which has also earned him the title of the Weight Loss Angel. Clint’s 12-week program assists people struggling with their weight who cannot afford a trainer, are unsure what to eat and how to train, have medical issues or are looking for help to truly believe in themselves again. A qualified personal trainer, Clint was determined to give back to those who needed his expertise most in the local community, after training with The Biggest Loser winners and contestants, pro golfers, first grade footballers and some of the best fighters in the country.
Other Australia Day 2015 award winners were:
Young Citizen of the Year – Gabbi Anderson and Kenzie Hancock (joint winners)
Sportsperson of the Year – Cormac Clissold
Community Group Initiative of the Year – Under 16s Macarthur Saints Junior Rugby League Football team – Blanket Appeal
