|We are committed to increasing the level of immunity to vaccine-preventable infectious diseases among infants and children in the Macarthur community.|
|Council operates two, four-hour immunisation clinics per month.|
These “no appointment” clinics provide vaccinations free of charge for children aged two months to four years in accordance with the National Immunisation Program.
Vaccinations are due when a child reaches two months, four months, six months, 12 months, 18 months and four years of age.
When completed, the course of vaccinations will immunise a child against Rotavirus, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio, HIB disease, Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal disease, Chickenpox and Meningococcal C disease.
