| Council at its meeting on 3 July 2012 adopted the Glenalvon Plan of Management. |
| The introduction of the new Local Government Act, 1993 required that Council prepare Plans of Management for all land classified by the Act as Community Land. This Plan of Management has been prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act, 1993 and Local Government (General) Regulations, 2005. |
