The Campbelltown community is invited to lend their support to Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic’s charity event to raise money for Beverley Park School for students with physical, intellectual or multiple disabilities.

The Mayor’s Charity Gala Dinner, sponsored by Campbelltown Mall, will be held at Campbelltown Arts Centre on Saturday 17 June from 6pm, and proceeds will support the installation of a new, interactive and accessible playground at the school, ensuring students have access to a fun, sensory learning experience.

The event will embrace a ‘secret garden’ theme, and will showcase the beauty of the Arts Centre surrounds while celebrating Beverley Park School students.

Cr Brticevic encouraged businesses, organisations and residents to support the event, and the students and families of Beverley Park School, through sponsorship, donations or purchasing tickets for the gala dinner.

“Play is an important part of learning, and the Mayor’s fundraising dinner endeavours to raise funds to provide a playground which extends the students’ learning environment, bringing the classroom outdoors,” he said.

“It will not only be a fun way for the students’ to learn, but will meet their sensory needs –providing opportunities to smell, touch and taste.

“With the generosity of the Campbelltown and wider Macarthur community, we will be able to provide the Beverley Park students of today, and of the future, with a wonderful playground which will improve the quality of their education.”

Get your friends or colleagues together for the gala dinner, a glamorous black tie event, including fine dining, entertainment and lots of generosity. Tickets are $150 per person or $1400 for a table of 10, and include a three-course dinner, beverages and entertainment.

Students’ artwork will also be on display, and available for purchase on the night.

Ticket sales and sponsorship opportunities are now available, or if you can't make it on the night, donations of any amount are welcome.
