Council provides financial support to locally based non-profit community groups and organisations through our Community Capacity Building Program.
Our annual Community Capacity Building program provides funding for community groups to develop effective and sustainable projects that address the community needs of residents in the Campbelltown Local Government Area. To help community groups assess their eligibility and plan their application, representatives are invited to attend a Community Capacity Building Program information session.
The Community Capacity Building program has three stages:
- a training and development program to improve governance and project management
- eligibility to apply for a seeding grant of up to $500 for groups that have successfully completed the training program; and
- eligibility to apply for a project grant of up to $5,000 for groups that have successfully completed activities funded by a seeding
