Development Applications

Domestic residential-type development

Development Applications lodged for Class 1 & 10 type buildings (domestic residential-type development) are to be accompanied with a BASIX Certificate (energy and water use commitments).

A minimum of four (4) copies of all plans and specifications lodged with Development Applications for Class 1 & 10 type buildings, are required by Council.

Larger developments

For larger type developments, a minimum of eight (8) copies of the application is required including all plans, Statements of Environmental Effects, specifications and supporting studies.

If your Development Application is required to be notified in accordance with our Public Notification and Public Exhibition Policy (PDF,2.97MB), you will need to provide six (6) additional A4 copies of the plans as well.

Construction Certificates and Complying Development Certificates (CC's & CDC's)

You will need to provide four (4) copies of all plans and specifications with your Construction Certificate or Complying Development Certificate application.
