| Located inside Camden Library, Camden Museum contains a rich collection of Camden's historical artefacts including photos, maps, clothing, uniforms, furniture, guns, musical instruments and badges.

Camden Museum is open Thursday - Sunday, 11am - 4pm. Free entry.
Formed in 1957, Camden Historical Society is instrumental in keeping history alive in the Camden area through the museum and is responsible for the preservation and display of this heritage. The Society has produced several publications, which give an insight into the rich history of the area. Along with other publications produced by local writers, all works can be purchased at Camden Museum or ordered by mail.

Campbelltown and Airds Historical Society - Glenalvon

| Built in 1840 by Michael Byrne, this fine Colonial Georgian townhouse is home to the Campbelltown and Airds Historical Society. Wander through this beautiful historic property and visit the custom built Alex Goodsell Rural Exhibition Centre, showcasing the agricultural heritage in the area. The entire complex, including the coach house and stables, sits in a peaceful heritage garden.

School and group tours are welcome at Glenalvon, bookings required. Open the first and third Monday (except Easter) and second Saturday of every month - February to mid December. 10am - 1pm. Also open by appointment.
The Historical Society aim to collect and preserve items and information relevant to the history of the Campbelltown district and to present them in an interesting and educative manner.
The society have published a large number of books and produce three journals a year, as well as a regular newsletter.

Dredges Cottage - Veterans Recreation Centre

Dredges Cottage, a heritage listed building, is home to the Veterans Recreation Centre. The Centre is the only one of its kind in Australia. The centre displays memorabilia covering all theatres of conflict from the Boer War 1902 to Vietnam. Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9am - 2pm.
