New Year's Eve

Koshigaya Park is home to the biggest New Year's Eve party in Campelltown. With a huge line up of entertainment and two fireworks displays, there is no better place to see in the New Year!

Koshigaya Park is the place to bring in the New Year!

Campbelltown City is renowned for offering a quality New Year's Eve alternative to the crowded CBD of Sydney - with a huge night of entertainment from 7pm, along with two spectacular fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight. A giant screen on the western side of the park displays all of the on-stage action, so everyone has a front row seat!

Family friendly entertainment

There is plenty to do with a family friendly carnival, food, merchandise stalls and much more!

More than five hours of stage entertainment, from local performers to high-profile bands and children's shows, makes for a great night out revellers of all ages. Our jam-packed line up will be announced later this year.

The event is drug and alcohol free, so there is no better place to celebrate the end of the year with family and friends.

Fireworks and pets

Fireworks can easily scare animals. If your pet tends to be frightened by loud noises, make sure you keep them restrained or inside the house on New Year’s Eve.

How to get there

Campbelltown's New Year's Eve event is held at Koshigaya Park, located on the corner of Hurley St and Camden Rd, Campbelltown (directly opposite the Campbelltown Catholic Club.)

Parking is available at various locations around the CBD or at Bradbury Oval, only a short walk, via the underpass, to Koshigaya Park.

If you plan to drive to the event, please take note of the road closures listed below.

The park is also located a short distance from the Campbelltown train station. For information on bus and train services on New Year's Eve, please visit or contact Transport for NSW on 131 500.

Road closures

Council advises that temporary full road closures will be introduced in the following streets from 6pm on 31 December 2016 to 1am on 1 January for the New Year’s Eve celebrations.

 2. Hurley Street - Camden Road to south of Campbelltown Mall access roundabout.
 3. Kellicar Road - Narellan Road to Camden Road.
