Local Studies Material

Resources in the local studies collection are generally unique, and therefore can only be used in the library. Increasingly, information is being disgitised, or local content is created and added to this website. Resources in the local studies collection are listed on the library catalogue. Indexes for finding local studies information are held in the local studies room. Library staff index the local newspapers to enable easy access to information. There is an index from 1976 onwards. From 1995, these records are incorporated in the library catalogue. Library reference staff are happy to help with questions relating to the Campbelltown local government area. For lengthy or in depth research enquiries, please make an appointment with the local studies librarian on 02 46454431.
