Campbelltown City Council recognises that young people are a vital part of the community. Council currently has a coordinated youth strategy that aims to identify and address issues that are important to young people in the Campbelltown area through a cooperative approach from all levels of government and youth services.

Campbelltown City Council aims to provide the services that young people require through two fulltime youth development staff and supports the youth centres run by community management committees in the Campbelltown area.

Council's Youth Development Unit regularly organise events and projects for young people such as youth festivals, band nights, community development projects such as SWAY Magazine and competitions at Campbelltown Skate Park.
