The purpose of this Plan of Management is to provide a management framework to ensure provision of passive recreation and community education facilities while ensuring the on-going viability of the natural environment within the Park.

A supporting document is attached which outlines legislative requirements for the Plan of Management, relevant policies and features of the Park in terms of geology, native vegetation, fauna and natural and cultural significance.

Pembroke Park, which has an area of approximately seven hectares, has high conservation values and is one of the most popular parks for recreation in the Campbelltown Local Government Area. It contains the Endangered Ecological Community known as Cumberland Plain Woodland as well as riparian vegetation. Pembroke Park is therefore a conservation, education and recreation resource in close proximity to a heavily urbanised environment. The Plan was prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
