Meet Aurora,
If you’re after a sweet, gentle soul to brighten your days, Aurora might be your girl. She’s calm, friendly and affectionate — the kind of cat who enjoys life at an easy pace. Aurora loves being picked up and cuddled, and she’ll happily perch on your shoulder to take in the view while you move around. She melts for cheek scratches and soft pats, and she’s always happy to be near you without ever being demanding.
Aurora isn’t one for toys or wild playtimes — she prefers her cozy bed and quiet moments. She’s not fussy with food, rarely meows, and gets along well with people of all ages. Her curious and social nature makes her a delight to have around, and her relaxed, low-energy vibe is perfect for a calm home or first-time cat owner.
Aurora is a gentle, affectionate sweetheart who’ll fill your home with warmth (and probably take over your comfiest chair too!).
Aurora is not suitable to live with dogs - they scare her.
Aurora is not suitable to live with other cats - she prefers to be the only cat in the home.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Aurora has already experienced living on the streets and she enjoys being inside where she feels safe. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can live her best life possible.
Staff Comments: Aurora is sweet girl who is also an excellent mother to the kittens she has raised. She is a wonderful mum but is now ready to find her new home. She spends most of her time, curled up on her bed, and she isn't afraid to roll around with delight when she sees you coming towards her.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
