Meet Pebbles,

Pebbles is a gentle and easygoing girl who’s as sweet as she is independent! She’s perfectly suited for first-time cat owners and would fit right in with just about any household. She’s open to meeting kids of all ages and takes everything in her stride with her calm, confident nature.

Pebbles isn’t much of a cuddle bug, but she’ll happily let you pick her up for a quick snuggle before politely asking to be put down again. What she really loves are pats - soft chin scratches and long strokes along her back will have her purring contently in no time. She’s not too fussed about toys or playtime, preferring to relax and spend her energy perfecting her scratching technique on her favourite post or cardboard scratcher.

With her mellow, friendly nature, Pebbles is a cat who knows exactly what she likes. She’s affectionate and curious, sometimes chatty, sometimes happily zoning out while staring into space. A little lazy, always hungry, and never one to turn down a meal (she’s a speedy eater!), Pebbles is a confident and charming cat who’s sure to bring calm and character to her new home.

Pebbles is not suitable to live with dogs or other cats.

We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Pebbles has already experienced living on the streets and she enjoys being inside where she feels safe. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can live her best life possible. Pebbles was introduced to our cat park and she did not like it one bit - she retreated back to her condo very quickly.

Staff Comments: Pebbles is independent and likes to chill and do her own thing but she does like to come and greet you and won't say no to same pats and scratches. She the purrfect friend - she'll let you discuss your day with her and she'll happily sit and listen to you - what more could you ask for?!

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
