Temporary changes to the notification of Development Applications and Certificates
Temporary changes to the above is required during the festive season to ensure there is sufficient time for interested public to review and comment on development applications, while not causing unnecessary delays in the process for applicants.
Applications received on or after 3 December 2018 will be notified through to 28 January 2019. Applications received from 14 January 2019 will be notified in accordance with Council’s standard notification policy.
No public exhibitions will be commenced until 14 January 2019 except as determined by resolution of Council or directed by the General Manager. This may lead to an increase in the processing time of some applications by 2-6 weeks and proponents are being advised of this at the time of lodgement.
As part of the development assessment process and in accordance with Council's Campbelltown (Sustainable City) Development Control Plan 2015 - Part 9 Public Consultation(2MB, PDF) , notification of certain types of development proposals will be provided to owners / occupiers of nearby properties.
