School Of Medicine

School of Medicine at WSU

Opened in 2008, the School of Medicine is a state of the art medical education and research facility at the WSU Campbelltown campus which graduates more than 100 doctors for the region each year.

One of the most advanced medical training centres in Australia, the development provides students and researchers with specialist teaching and laboratory facilities, including simulated learning spaces for clinical skills learning, an anatomy laboratory, problem-based learning tutorial rooms and research equipment.

In 2017, there were more than 740 students enrolled in the School of Medicine. More than 70% of the doctors trained at Western Sydney University's School of Medicine, stay and practice medicine in the city and surrounding region.
