Phase 2+ Turning the Vision into Reality

Aerial view of Campbelltown

Now that we have a vision for the future of the city, Phase 2+ is required to start working towards turning the vision into a reality.

The next phases of Reimagining Campbelltown includes establishing frameworks to ensure the smooth strategic planning and therefore delivery of the vision. This includes an integrated suite of master plans that cover the economic viability, infrastructure requirements, and eventually physical spatial master planning of the identified precincts. These are due to kick off in the near future.

Throughout the development of these master plans, and as the opinions of our community are most important, there will be significant opportunities to be engaged where we will be seeking your suggestions and feedback through a variety of activities.

Reimagining Campbelltown City Centre

We are reimagining the future of our city centre - and we want to understand what is most  important to you.

Our vision is a sustainable, resilient prosperous and liveable city which services the broader Macarthur region. We need your help to achieve this.

In September we had a great response to our survey and we heard about the things you love, what you would like to see changed and some of your big ideas for the future of our city centres. Take a look at our engagement report(290KB, PDF) for a summary of what we heard.

Throughout November you'll find us at a range of events and activities throughout the Festival of Fisher's Ghost and you can drop by our pop-up park in Lithgow Street to share your ideas, ask questions or learn more about this exciting project. We'll also continue our engagement with business and industry, as well as visiting schools, child care centres and train stations to capture everyone's ideas for our city centres.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for the latest updates about where we will be and when.
