Local Government Elections - POSTPONED UNTIL 2021

The Minister for Local Government has announced that in response to the COVID-19 pandemic the Local Government election scheduled to be held on Saturday 12 September 2020 has been postponed for a full year until September 2021.

Current Councillors will continue to hold their civic offices. The postponement of the next election will not change the future schedule of council elections, and the subsequent election will still proceed in September 2024.

The election will be administered by the New South Wales Electoral Commission www.elections.nsw.gov.au.
