Program History

Over the years the Festival Program has celebrated with many themes including: We Could Be Heroes, The Ghost with the Most, The Spirit of Campbelltown, the International Year of the Volunteers, the Centenary of Federation, the National Year of Reading and most recently, the 30th anniversary of the Campbelltown-Koshigaya Sister City relationship.

The program has evolved over the years in response to the interests of the local community.

The most popular events on the program include the Street Parade, Street Fair and of course the carnival which sees thousands of people through the gates over both weekends of this 10 day festival.

Catering to the youth of Campbelltown is Fisher's Gig. This youth music festival sees a number of local talented performers and bands supporting a popular headline act (or two).

Other stayers on the program include the prestigious Fisher's Ghost Art Award, the Annual Fisher's Ghost Fun Run, Fisher's Kids and a diverse range of associated events.
