Comment on the planning proposal review by The Sydney Western City Planning Panel to remove the prohibition on heavy and long vehicles accessing land at 194 Campbelltown Road, Denham Court.
The Review process follows Council’s decision of 11 December 2018 to not support the proposal. The Sydney Western City Planning Panel has been appointed as the Planning Proposal Authority to determine this planning proposal.
The planning proposal seeks to amend the Campbelltown Local Environment Plan 2015 by altering the additional permitted use clause for the site to the following:
Clause 17 (Schedule 1) Use of certain land at 194 Campbelltown Road, Denham Court
- This clause applies to land at 194 Campbelltown Road, Denham Court, being Lot 100 DP 1176622.
- Development for the purpose of a service station is permitted with development consent, if the service station is not able to be accessed from a freeway.
- The proposed amendment will remove the prohibition for long or heavy vehicles over 7.5m in length to access the site from the additional permitted use clause. The proposal would not amend the E4 zoning or any other development control for the site.

The planning proposal is on exhibition for public comment from Wednesday, 20 May 2020 until Tuesday,16 June 2020 (the exhibition period).
