Temporary road closures

Temporary road closures and traffic delays will be experienced on Anzac Lane, Campbelltown, during the installation and launch of the 10 Faces of Campbelltown Street Art Project. Affected dates are 18 – 23 June 2018.

Development proposals

Menangle Rd, Campbelltown

Council has received a development application from Kennards Self Storage Pty Ltd for the construction and operation of a storage premises at Lot 1211 DP 1136122, Menangle Rd, Campbelltown.   

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application. 

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000. 

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown.

1 Koala Avenue, Ingleburn

Council has received a development application from 1 Koala Pty Ltd for the demolition of the existing dwelling and construction of a three storey boarding house consisting of 17 self serviced rooms, including a manager's room and basement carparking at Lot 1 DP 503883, 1 Koala Ave, Ingleburn.  

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application. 

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000. 

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown; Greg Percival Library, Cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn and Glenquarie Branch Library, Brooks St, Macquarie Fields.

901 and 913 Appin Rd, Gilead

Council has received a development application from Lendlease Communities (Mount Gilead) Pty Ltd for the subdivision of land to create 333 residential lots and five residue lots and associated civil works; including the removal of vegetation, dam dewatering, earthworks and the construction of roads and infrastructure at Lot 3 DP 1218887 and Lot 61 DP 752042, 901 and 913 Appin Rd, Gilead.  

On 24 November 2017, development consent was granted to a procedural subdivision of Lots 1, 2 & 3 in DP 1218887 to create five residue lots for future residential development. A Subdivision Certificate has been issued and the registration of this subdivision with NSW Land Registry Services is imminent. The land, the subject of this development application, comprises Lot 61 DP 752042 and proposed Lots 1 and 2 in the approved procedural subdivision. 

The Campbelltown Local Planning Panel (LPP) is the consent authority for this development application as there is a pending Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) associated with the application. 

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000. A Bushfire Safety Authority from the Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997 is also required. 

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown. 

If you would like to comment on the proposal, please make a submission to Council by close of business on Friday 13 July 2018, quoting file number 743/2018/DA-SW.
