Catch a Carp Competition - 7 April 2019

Council is seeking sponsors for its annual Catch a Carp Competition. This popular annual community event will be held on Sunday 7 April 2019 at Eagle Vale Pond, Eagle Vale and there is an opportunity for local businesses to contribute toward the prize pool for participants.

The Catch a Carp competition aims to raise awareness about invasive species such as carp within the Campbelltown area and promote care of our natural resources.

Promotion of the event will be comprehensive and will ensure the sponsor receives extensive exposure across the city of Campbelltown in digital and print media.

Road closures – Ingleburn Alive

Council advises that temporary full road closures will be in place on Saturday 2 March 2019 from 5am to midnight for the Ingleburn Alive - Revived event. Oxford Rd from Carlisle St to Ingleburn Rd and parts of Nardoo St and Macquarie Rd will be affected by the closures.

Tender

T19/05 Winter Themed Community Event

Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to produce and deliver a winter themed community event in Koshigaya Park, Campbelltown for the NSW winter school holidays annually for a period of up to five years.

Development Proposal

Lot 1 Pembroke Road, Minto

Council has received a development application from Anglican Community Services for the Staged seniors living development for 10 residential flat buildings comprising 315 independent living units, 32 attached villas, a 100 bed residential aged care facility, community facilities and associated carparking at Lot 1 DP 620265, Lot 1 Pembroke Road, Minto.  

Sydney Western City Planning Panel is the determination authority for this development application.

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000, and Bushfire Safety Authority from the Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997.

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown and Greg Percival Library, Cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn.

Council has received a development application for subdivision to create 355 residential lots and associated road, drainage, servicing and infrastructure (Stage 3 Menangle Park) at Lot 3 DP 236059, Lot 1 DP 249393, Lot 1 DP 707225, Lot 1 DP 708770, Lot 1 DP 727098, Lot 7 DP 787284, Lot 124 DP 1097090, Lot 125 DP 1097138, Lot 33 DP 1101983, Lot 3 Menangle Rd, Menangle Park.

Sydney Western City Planning Panel is the consent authority for this development application.

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the NSW Department of Primary Industries - Water under the Water Management Act 2000. The proposal also requires referrals to the NSW Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997, Roads and Maritime Services under the State Environmental Planning Policy (Infrastructure) 2007 and Subsidence Advisory NSW under the Coal Mine Compensation Act 2017.

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours and at HJ Daley Library , Hurley St, Campbelltown.

Council has received a development application for the Construction of an industrial and commercial complex with a fast food outlet at Lot 2 DP 1245205, 89A Williamson Rd, Ingleburn

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application.

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000.

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours and at HJ Daley Library , Hurley St, Campbelltown and Greg Percival Library, Cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn.
