We are seeking a suitably qualified contractor to collect wastewater from a decommissioned landfill site at Lynwood Rd, St Helens Park, and transport the wastewater to Council’s nominated disposal location in Leumeah.

Draft Memorials and Monuments on Council Open Space Policy

Council, at its meeting on 13 February 2018, resolved to publicly exhibit the Draft Memorials and Monuments on Council Open Space Policy. The primary objective of the policy is to provide applicants and Council with a framework for assessment and review of memorials and monuments on Council land within the Campbelltown LGA.

The draft policy is a strategic document that provides framework and criteria to assist in the assessment of eligibility for proposed memorials and monuments on Council open space and provides guidance for the management of existing memorials and monuments on Council open space within the Campbelltown LGA.

The draft policy will be on public exhibition and available to view from Wednesday 14 March until Friday 20 April 2018 on Council’s website at campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/haveyoursay; at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown and Glenquarie Library, Brooks St, Macquarie Fields.

Council has received a development application from Catholic Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust for the construction and use of a new cemetery and parklands at Lot 1 DP 218016, Lot B DP 370979, Lot 22 DP 564065, 166-176 St Andrews Rd, Varroville. The Sydney Western City Planning Panel is the determination authority for this development application. 

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000. The development application also seeks approval from the Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997. 

The application and accompanying information is on exhibition and is available for review online, or at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown; Eagle Vale Central Library, cnr Emerald Dr and Feldspar Rd, Eagle Vale; Greg Percival Library cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn; and Glenquarie Branch Library, Brooks St, Macquarie Fields.

Council has received a development application from APP Corporation Pty Ltd for Menangle Park Urban Release Area – Stage 1 – civil works and the subdivision of land to create 255 residential lots and seven superlots at Lot 1 DP 598067, Lot 1 DP 1091474, Lot 2 DP 554242, Lots 31 & 32 DP 1101983, Lot 641 DP 600334, Lot 1001 DP 1219028 and Lot 1002 DP1234642, Menangle Rd, Menangle Park.

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application. 

The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000. 

The proposal also requires a Bushfire Safety Authority from the Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997.

Campbelltown City Council is the consent authority for this development application. 

The proposal is identified as Integrated Development as it requires a Bushfire Safety Authority approval from the Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997. 

The application and accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects are on exhibition and available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours; at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown and Greg Percival Library, Cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn.
