Expressions of Interest – Independent Hearing and Assessment Panel
Community representatives for Campbelltown City Council
Campbelltown City Council is establishing an Independent Hearing and Assessment Panel (IHAP) to determine planning applications for local development.
Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from the community to fill a local member position and alternate member positions on Council’s IHAP. Your role as an IHAP member would be a part-time, paid role starting in March 2018. For information on the selection criteria visit have your say.
Membership of the panel is for up to three years. It is expected that meetings will be held on a monthly basis and, if nominated as the community representative for that meeting, you will be expected to contribute constructively to panel discussions. The position will be paid in accordance with rates to be set by the NSW Government.

Public exhibition – Planning proposal
Goodsell/Eagleview Precinct, Minto
In May 2017, Council endorsed a planning proposal for the sites known as Goodsell/Eagleview Precinct, 221-229 Eagleview Rd and 25-27 Goodsell St Minto. The objective of this planning proposal is to enable the subject site that is currently zoned E4 Environmental Living to be developed for low density residential development.
The planning proposal and supporting documentation will be on public exhibition and available to view from Wednesday 8 November until Friday 8 December 2017 at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council's ordinary office hours, at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown; Greg Percival Library, Oxford Rd, Ingleburn or visit have your say.

166-176 St Andrews Rd, Varroville
Council has received a development application from Catholic Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust for the construction and use of a new cemetery and parklands at Lot 1 DP 218016, Lot B DP 370979, Lot 22 DP 564065, 166-176 St Andrews Rd, Varroville. The Sydney Western City Planning Panel is the determination authority for this development application.
The proposal is identified as Nominated Integrated Development as it requires a controlled activity approval from the Office of Water under the Water Management Act 2000. The development application also seeks approval from the Rural Fire Service under the Rural Fires Act 1997.
The application and accompanying information is on exhibition and is available for review at the ground floor of Council’s Civic Centre during Council’s ordinary office hours and at HJ Daley Library, Hurley St, Campbelltown; Eagle Vale Central Library, cnr Emerald Dr and Feldspar Rd, Eagle Vale; Greg Percival Library cnr Oxford and Cumberland Rds, Ingleburn; and Glenquarie Branch Library, Brooks St, Macquarie Fields.
