Changes to the notification of DAs and Certificates over the holiday season.

Temporary changes to the notification of Development Applications and Certificates is required during the festive season to ensure there is sufficient time for interested public to review and comment on development applications, while not causing unnecessary delays in the process for applicants.

Applications received on or after 4 December 2017 will be notified through to 26 January 2018. Applications received from 15 January 2018 will be notified in accordance with Council’s standard notification policy.

No public exhibitions will be commenced until 15 January 2018 except as determined by resolution of Council or directed by the General Manager. This may lead to an increase in the processing time of some applications by 2-6 weeks and proponents are being advised of this at the time of lodgement.
