A total fire ban is in place from Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 December 2019 as the heatwave hits NSW.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns very hot weather is building over the next few days, with heatwave conditions forecast for the Sydney region. Please take extra care in the hot weather and during the poor air quality to reduce your risk of illness. Here's more information about coping in heatwaves.

Information regarding weather forecast and fire weather warnings is available from the Bureau of Meteorology.
