A range of exciting community events are on offer to young locals as part of Youth Week 2023 celebrations from 20 to 30 April.
Council has provided grant funding for a range of local youth organisations to hold activities across Campbelltown alongside programs being held by Campbelltown Library and Campbelltown Arts Centre.
“Youth Week is a great opportunity to recognise the young people and future leaders in our community,” said Mayor George Greiss.
“We’re proud to support local youth groups and organisations with funding for their Youth Week events and look forward to seeing our younger residents get involved,” said Cr Greiss.
Local events include:
- Tradie Training Workshop by The Flagstaff Group
- Taste of Polynesia by Australia and Pacific Maori Community Services
- Scream It Out by Scream It Out
- Free Fall Festival by School of Rock
- Street Fest by Humanity Matters
- Term 2 Launch Celebration by Horizon Youth St Andrews
Campbelltown Library and Campbelltown Arts Centre will host a range of creative workshops throughout the week, while Council’s Bushcare team will also host a Mountain Biking workshop at the Ingleburn Reserve Mountain Bike Trail Loop.
Special deals will also be offered at Campbelltown Active Leisure and Fitness services, with free 7-day trials for qualifying applicants.
