Notification and Exhibition

Community consultation

As part of the development assessment process and in accordance with Council's Campbelltown (Sustainable City) Development Control Plan 2015 - Part 9 Public Consultation(2MB, PDF) , notification of certain types of development proposals will be provided to owners / occupiers of nearby properties.

In some circumstances, the wider public may be made aware of a development application by way of Public Exhibition. Public Exhibition involves Council placing a notice in the Council pages of the local papers.

How can I comment on a development proposal?

Any submission should directly relate to the development application, be brief and to the point. The submission should include reasons and facts supporting all issues raised. You will need to provide your name, address and contact details including a day time phone number.

Where can I find out more information?

More information is available in our information brochure on Notification of Development Applications(282KB, PDF) or you can contact our Planning and Environment Division on 4645 4608 to speak with the Council officer assessing the development application.
