The winners have been announced!

The Macarthur region’s beauty was celebrated when the winners of the 2017 Macarthur Nature Photography Competition were announced at a presentation evening at Camden Civic Centre on Thursday 2 November.

Over 200 people came along to celebrate in the award ceremony and were treated to some amazing photography by both the entries as well as the guest speaker Scott Portelli, one of the winners of the 2017 Australian Geographic Nature Photography Competition.

Get your school involved next year!

This competition provides a great avenue for schools to engage their students in visual arts/digital media, science and geography. In our primary school and high school teacher resource kits we have demonstrated what learning outcomes this competition can achieve.

There are also great prizes for schools. If one of your students enters their photo into the competition, acknowledging their school on the entry form, it automatically goes into the running to win best overall primary school or high school photo, judged by our competition judges.
