Glenalvon House - a fine Colonial Georgian townhouse with its heritage gardens

Built in 1840 by Michael Byrne, this fine Colonial Georgian townhouse is home to the Campbelltown and Airds Historical Society. Attend an open day, book a tour or host a small wedding ceremony.


Wander through this beautiful historic property and visit the custom built Alex Goodsell Rural Exhibition Centre, showcasing the agricultural heritage in the area. The entire complex, including the coach house and stables sits in a peaceful heritage garden.

Glenalvon is open to the general public

  • On the second and fourth Saturday of every month
  • During the months of February until early December
  • From 10am to 1pm
  • Group tours are also available by appointment (not during open days).
