Leisure Conditions of Entry

Aquatics Conditions of Entry

Campbelltown City Council endeavor to provide a safe and enjoyable facility for all users therefore all persons entering the facility must follow these rules:

  1. ALL children under 10 years of age must be actively supervised by a person 16 years or older.
  2. It is a condition of entry that patrons release the swimming centre and Campbelltown City Council from all liability for any injury or damage that they sustain whilst at the centre.
  3. It is a condition of entry that patrons consent to any medical treatment that the centre's staff may reasonably consider necessary or desirable for any treatment they receive at the centre.
  4. Patrons enter the premises at their own risk.
  5. Patrons with special needs, such as medical, physical or psychological conditions, which are likely to adversely affect their health and safety in the water crèche, indoor sports or fitness areas must report their conditions to the staff on duty.
  6. Individuals should use the toilet and showers before entering the water.
  7. Appropriate swimwear is to be worn when entering the pools.
  8. Babies and children who are not toilet trained are required to wear a swimming nappy and ensure regular toilet breaks are taken.
  9. Disorderly or dangerous behavior is not permitted.
  10. Lifeguards and/ or Fitness staff will assist in emergencies. They will not provide individual care for patrons. Patrons in need of support must arrange their own support services.
  11. No food or drinks permitted in the pool.
  12. Individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol are NOT permitted in the centre.
  13. Individuals with contagious infections are not permitted to enter the pools.
  14. Patrons are to follow directions of staff; In case of an emergency evacuation staff will assist patrons to the evacuation point.
  15. Failure to comply with this notice is an offence under the Local Government Act 1993.

Fitness Conditions of Entry

Active supervision: All patrons are directly responsible for people within their care. For the safety and comfort of all users, please obey general warnings and adhere to the correct behavior rules.

  1. The minimum age requirement for non-weights based group fitness classes and cardiovascular equipment is 14 years.
  2. The minimum age requirement for weights based group fitness and unsupervised resistance training is 16 years.
  3. Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn at all times.
  4. Towels must be used at all times. If you do not have a towel, the centre will supply a small towel fee.
  5. No food is permitted on the gym floor.
  6. Individuals with contagious infections are advised not to enter the gym.
  7. It is a condition of entry that patrons release the Centre and Campbelltown City Council form all liability for any injury or damage that they sustain while at the centre.
  8. It is a condition of entry that patrons consent to any medical treatment that the centre staff may reasonably consider necessary or desirable for any treatment they receive at the centre.

  11. Individuals involved in the distribution or under the influence of drugs or alcohol are NOT permitted into the centre.
  12. Staff will assist in emergencies. Individual care or supervision is not provided. Patrons in need of support must arrange their own support services.
  13. Patrons are to follow directions of staff. In case of an emergency evacuation staff will assist patrons to the evacuation point.
  14. Patrons that have been directed to leave the facility due to breaches of conditions of entry will not receive refunds or concessions to their membership.
  15. Failure to comply with this notice is an offence under the Local Government Act 1993.
