Helping to prevent epidemics of infectious diseases

We are committed to increasing the level of immunity to vaccine-preventable infectious diseases among infants and children in the Macarthur community.

Council operates two, immunisation clinics per month at Campbelltown and Ingleburn.

Vaccinations are due when a child reaches six weeks, four months, six months, 12 months, 18 months and four years of age.

When completed, the course of vaccinations will immunise a child against: Rotavirus, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b disease, Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal disease, Chickenpox and Meningococcal ACWY disease.

6 Months*	Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Haemophilus influenzae type b, Hepatitis B and Polio.
12 Months**	Meningococcal ACWY, Pneumococcal, Measles, Mumps and Rubella
18 Months	Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chickenpox) and Haemophilus influenzae type b.
4 Years#**	Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough) and Polio.
