This Airports and Aviation Careers workshop will help empower and enable the women of Macarthur to secure the aviation career of their choice.

What will be covered in the workshop?

This workshop is designed to share aviation career pathways, training options and skill requirements, aviation employment information, current job availabilities, job seeking skills training and job application tips. 

The workshop will provide insight into the huge variety of careers available that exist in the aviation industry including careers such as:

  • pilots
  • flight attendants
  • aviation rescue firefighting
  • engineers
  • airport operations
  • air traffic control
  • technology
  • catering
  • customer service.

The workshop is an opportunity to learn, explore and ask questions in a relaxed and supportive environment. 

The program is fully funded by the Office for Women, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, as part of the Women's Leadership and Development Program.
