Join us and learn about the important role pollinators play in keeping our local bushland healthy!
Council in partnership with the Blair Athol Bushcare Group and the NSW National Parks Association will be hosting another Bringing Back the Buzz event at John Kidd Reserve, Blair Athol to celebrate National Pollinator Week.
Join us to learn about the great work that is happening in the reserve and look at the important role native pollinators play in maintaining the health of Cumberland Plain Woodland found at the site. We will also have information on hand and microscopes to help you identify the species that you catch. You'll also have the opportunity to create your very own insect hotel to take home whilst learning about other ways you can contribute to pollinator health in your own backyard, such as planting native plants!
Participants are advised to arrive approximately 10 minutes before the start time with parking available at the Blair Athol Community Centre and to please wear long pants, sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water and a keen sense of adventure!
- If you book tickets and cannot make it, please contact us so we can make your spot available for other participants.
- If the event is fully booked out please contact us and we can place you on our waiting list.
