CAWS Companion Animal Free Microchipping Offer

Eligible dog and cat owners in the Campbelltown Local Government Area are offered free microchipping.

CAWS (Companion Animal Welfare Scheme) Free Microchipping Program

Due to an overwhelming response to our de-sexing program enrolment days, de-sexing clinics are currently booked out. Further details will be provided once confirmed.

A free microchipping day will be held instead on Thursday 23 August 2018 at the Claymore Youth Centre, corner of Dobell and Gould Roads, Claymore between 11am and 2pm.

If you live in the Campbelltown Local Government Area and are interested in the offer of free microchipping for your cat or dog, you will need to bring along proof of your CAWS program eligibility as a local resident and as a pensioner or low income earner (below $25,000 per annum). Please bring your cat or dog with you on the day to receive this offer, and ensure they are under effective control at all times (animals must be on a lead or in a pet carrier).

Free microchipping will be offered to eligible residents, subject to availability on the day.

For more information, please contact our City Standards and Compliance team on 02 4645 4604.
