Join the Fisher's Ghost Advisory Committee

We are seeking community members to join the Fisher’s Ghost Festival Advisory Committee. This committee will play a key role in shaping the future of one of our region’s most iconic events.

About the Committee

The Advisory Committee will provide advice and feedback to help us grow the Fisher’s Ghost Festival into a regionally significant event. Members will contribute ideas and explore opportunities for community-led participation.

What Will You Do?

  • Review and provide input into the Festival program.
  • Recommend ways to expand community involvement.
  • Assess past events for community and economic impact.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships with local businesses and organisations.
  • Help ensure the festival reflects Campbelltown’s creativity, history, and diversity

Membership

We are seeking up to 5 community representatives who live, work, study, or have strong connections to the Campbelltown Local Government Area. To be eligible, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Have demonstrated experience in planning/delivering community events, marketing, or tourism.
  • Represent young people, First Nations people, or diverse communities.
  • Are a long-term resident.

Commitment 

  • Meetings will be held monthly on the first Tuesday of the month at 5pm, commencing in February 2026 and concluding in December 2026.
  • Meetings held at Campbelltown Civic Centre or via audio/visual link.
  • Members are volunteers and covered by Council’s insurance, however no renumeration will be provided to members of the Advisory Committee.

Submit your expression of interest in writing, including:

  • Your name and contact details.
  • A brief outline of your connection to Campbelltown and relevant experience, and what you would bring as a member of the Advisory Committee.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest.
