Outdoor Dining

Outdoor dining is a great way to enhance our city and create a lively street life, while at the same time stimulating business growth. 

We want to support our cafes and restaurants to contribute towards the vibrancy and activity of our city centres by encouraging the use of public spaces for outdoor dining, where safe and appropriate.

If you've noticed some improved outdoor dining furniture recently, in and around the Campbelltown and Ingleburn city centres, this is all thanks to the Outdoor Dining Grant program that we delivered in 2023. As part of the program, more than 20 local businesses were awarded grants of up to $5,000 to enhance and update their outdoor dining furniture and contribute towards making a more attractive and vibrant atmosphere for our community. 

We're excited to announce that we're rolling out another round of the Outdoor Dining Grant in 2024. 

To be eligible to apply for the grant, businesses must have a valid Outdoor Dining permit issued by Campbelltown City Council.
