Billabong Parklands FAQs

Campbelltown Billabong Parklands has seasonal entry fees.  Entry fees and charges will apply as part of the Summer season (October to March). From April to September, visitors can access the Parklands for free.

Children 5 and under swim FREE with full paying Adult/Concession

* 2 adults, 2 children OR 1 adult, 3 children.

** Prepaid swim passes valid for all Council leisure centres, including Billabong Parklands, Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre, Eagle Vale Central and Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre.

Please note the Billabong Parklands is a cashless venue.

If you are trying to book tickets and the system is saying they are sold out for that day, we recommend checking back later as any cancellations will become available in the system for re-booking.

We recommend checking online first to see if more tickets have been made available, however, you can also call our friendly team on 02 4645 4511 if you need assistance. 

Yes, functions are welcome at the Billabong. We recommend you book a hut to ensure you have prime location within the Parklands.

Huts can either be booked for 3 hour sessions (10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm) at $80 or for the full day (10am to 5pm) at $150.

As per our conditions of entry, patrons must adhere to the following:

• Children aged 0-5 years and non-swimmers must be accompanied by a Parent, Legal Guardian or responsible Adult (18 years or over), who must maintain continuous supervision and remain within arm’s reach. 1 Parent / Legal Guardian / Adult to 2 Children.
• Children 6-10 years and weak swimmers must be accompanied by a Parent, Legal Guardian or responsible Adult (18 years or over), who must be close, monitor and maintain constant visual contact and be prepared to assist children if needed.  1 Parent / Legal Guardian / Adult to 4 Children.
• Children aged 11-14 years must be accompanied by a Parent, Legal Guardian or responsible Adult (18 years or over), who must maintain visual contact.
• Children 11 years and older may be non-swimmers or weak swimmers therefore supervision by a Parent, Legal guardian or responsible Adult (18 years or over) should not be restricted by age in these circumstances.

There are a number of parking locations within walking distance to access Campbelltown Billabong Parklands:

• The most direct access is via the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands and Bradbury Oval car park located off The Parkway, Bradbury.
• On-street parking around the Parklands, located on The Parkway, Bradbury.
• Campbelltown Arts Centre car park.
• Campbelltown City Centre.

Disability parking

Disability parking is available at the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands and Bradbury Oval car park.

Train

The nearest train stations are Campbelltown and Macarthur stations. Regular train services run to these stations.

Catch a bus

Transit Systems NSW 885 and 885A buses run between Campbelltown Station and Bradbury every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sundays.

Bicycles, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades are not permitted on site. We have bike racks available in the top carpark off of The Parkway and on the main entrance from the main carpark.

Yes, Campbelltown Billabong Parklands has lifeguards on site during operational hours. However, Parents/ Legal Guardians/ Responsible Adults are required to adhere to our Conditions of Entry at all times.

Campbelltown City Council endeavour to provide a safe and enjoyable facility for all users therefore ask patrons to adhere to our full list of conditions of entry.

The following activities and items are prohibited:

• Diving
• Dunking
• Bombing
• Pushing
• Running
• Littering
• Bodyboards
• Large inflatable devices, with the exception of baby ring floaties and arm bands
• Bicycles, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades
• Gazebos, beach umbrellas, cabanas
• Bad language
• Alcohol
• Glass
• Knives, with the exception of plastic and bamboo knives
• Smoking or vaping
• Animals

Companion animals that are registered with the Office of Local Government are permitted entry into the venue. Companion animals are not permitted into the pools or splash play areas. Companion animals must remain on leash at all times. A Companion Animal Certificate of Registration/Identification will be required to presented at reception.

Portable coolers and bags may be inspected upon arrival to ensure no prohibited items are brought into the facility. 

The Campbelltown Billabong Parklands will have mobile food trucks available with a range of alternating cuisine options.

The site has many picnic areas for patrons to enjoy and you are permitted to bring in your own food. We advise patrons to pre-cut any food as knives are prohibited (with the exception of bamboo and plastic knives).

Glass, alcohol and gum are not permitted on site.

Yes, the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands have 8 BBQs in total. They are available for use, free of charge, during operational hours.

Patrons are to bring their own cooking utensils for the BBQs.

Please note knives are prohibited, with the exception of bamboo and plastic knives. Patrons are advised to pre-cut any food. 

Benches, tables and gazebos for personal use are not permitted to be brought into the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands. This includes beach umbrellas and cabanas.

Eskys and pop-up sun shelters are permitted. Contents of the eskys will be inspected upon entry. Sun shelters must be no larger than  200cm W x 200cm L x 145cm H and must not be staked into the ground.

The water at the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands is not heated and pools are closed during the winter season (April to September). The splash park is open year-round.

Please note: Hours may vary during special events.

Campbelltown Billabong Parklands consists of a range of recreational areas including a zero-depth water play area. In the large recreational pool, the depth goes to 1.8m. The site has a number of depth markers around the pool and patrons are encouraged to make themselves familiar with the depth and only enter areas suitable to their swim ability.
