Notification and Exhibition

Community consultation

As part of the development assessment process and in accordance with Council's Community Participation Plan, notification of certain types of development proposals will be provided to owners/occupiers of nearby properties.

In some circumstances, the wider public may be made aware of a development application by way of Public Exhibition. Public Exhibition involves Council placing a notice on Council's Development Online page and agreeing to the statement.

How can I comment on a development proposal?

Any comments on the development proposal should be made in writing or by email prior to the closing date of the notification/exhibition period.

Any submission should directly relate to the development application, be brief and to the point. The submission should include reasons and facts supporting all issues raised. You will need to provide your name, address and contact details including a day time phone number.
