We encourage a positive and informative environment across all social media channels. Followers of our channels can expect a place that is respectful, reliable, relevant and safe. Moderation of Content
We welcome your comments and questions on our social media posts and encourage positive and open discussion on our channels.
Our staff monitor Council’s social media channels from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). If we spot any posts or comments that go against our guidelines, we’ll take action. From time to time, we may also respond outside these hours when after-hours events are taking place in the community.
Due to the high volume of messages, comments and questions we receive on our social media channels, not all comments or questions will be responded to. In particular, where the information in the post provides an alternative source for additional information, such as a link to further information on Council’s website.
We recommend contacting our Customer Service Team should you have any questions about our services and operations. We are unable to act on individual requests for services through our social media channels, if you are reporting something that needs attention this can be raised through our website.
You can contact our Customer Service Team from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
