Meet Nicky,

Little Nicky is all cheek, a little charm and just the right amount of attitude.

Whilst he may be small in size, he is big in personality and brings just enough chaos to keep life interesting...

Nicky is an enthusiastic little guy who can come on a little strong & excited - especially around other dogs and in new environments. He'd benefit from ongoing positive training and impulse control to help with his manners as he may jump up & use his mouth when excitement gets the better of him.

But underneath it all he is a sweet-natured boy who means well, he just hasn't quite mastered the art of subtlety yet! Once he gets to know you, his affectionate side shines through - he loves attention from his people!

He is open to meeting tolerant, well-matched dogs and would benefit from patient introductions and continued positive social experiences. With consistency, guidance and someone to help him channel his enthusiasm, this little man has plenty of potential to blossom.

With a little patience, plenty of positive reinforcement and someone who can appreciate his larger-than-life personality, Nicky is sure to become a wonderful companion, one that may appear to be small enough to fit in your lap, but who comes with a personality big enough to require its own postcode!

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
