Rosie has so much love, sweetness, and friendship to give to her new family. Just like a rose, she'll blossom once she knows she's found her person.

Rosie would love to be the only animal in the home so she can soak up all your love, treats, and maybe even your bed! She would also benefit from ongoing training and positive socialisation with other dogs to help build her confidence.

When you first meet Rosie, she might be a little jumpy but that's just her way of saying hello! She absolutely loves people, although we think food might just be her biggest love. Rosie would be best suited to a home with children aged 10 years and over.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
