We're upgrading Midlothian Reserve with new play equipment and enhancements to the surrounding park.

What's coming to the playground?

The playground has been designed with a 'castle/medieval' theme for a wide range of ages and includes:

• Combination play unit, swings and dragon rocker.
• New concrete path from Cowan Place and Davy Place
• Shade sail over playground
• New garden beds and native trees
• New park seat

When is it happening?

Construction is set to begin on Friday 31 October 2025 and is expected to be finished by 9 December 2025, weather permitting.
Work hours :

• Monday to Friday: 7am – 5pm
• Saturday: 8am – 1pm

You might notice some activity and extra noise during this time, but our team will do their best to keep any disruptions to a minimum.
