We're upgrading Midlothian Reserve with new play equipment and enhancements to the surrounding park.

What's coming to the playground?

• Combination play unit, swings and rocker/spinner with synthetic turf softfall
• Platform seat and a new position for the existing picnic shelter
• Accessible picnic area with table and bench seats
• Accessible pathway entry connecting playground and Midlothian Road
• New bin
• Native tree planting

When is it happening?

Construction is set to begin on Monday 17 November 2025 and should be finished by 10 December 2025, weather permitting.
Work hours :

• Monday to Friday: 7am – 5pm
• Saturday: 8am – 1pm

You might notice some activity and extra noise during this time, but our team will do their best to keep any disruptions to a minimum.
