The Campbelltown Domestic Violence Committee (CDVC) is made up of organisations that provide services to women, men, children and families impacted by Domestic and Family Violence (DFV). The Committee is convened by Council and auspiced through Sector Connect.

Purpose

The Committee's specific role in the Campbelltown area is to:

  • Undertake a co-ordinated approach to raising awareness of the protection of people in situations of DFV.
  • Provide education, information and support our local community.
  • Improve interagency responses, partnerships and collaborations between government, non-government and community organisations.

Applications for Membership

Membership is open to government and non-government agencies and identified corporate or community members with a commitment to gender equity and who work in the Campbelltown local government area.

The Committee is governed by an agreed Terms of Reference and meets on a monthly basis.
