Looking to connect with fellow makers, tinkerers, and creatives?
The Maker’s Meetup is a relaxed, after-hours program held fortnightly at Campbelltown Library’s Creative Studio.
Each session invites adults aged 16 and up to explore creative technologies, build projects and learn new skills in a welcoming, hands-on environment.
Each session includes a short, hands-on demo of a creative technology tool or process, followed by open studio time where you can work at your own pace and connect with other creatives.
Upcoming Sessions:
Term 1
- 5 February – 3D Printing in multiple colours
- 19 February – Making great video content on mobiles
- 5 March – Pure Data - Building a virtual synthesizer
- 19 March – Laser cut earrings with acrylic
Term 2
- 30 April - 3D scanning for part making and replacement
No prior experience necessary - just bring your curiosity. Tools, guidance, and good company provided.
Sessions are designed for beginners through to experienced makers.
Some materials like plywood and filament cost to use.
Bookings not required.
