Renew On Q: Still Life Drawing Class

Join hosts Ruth and Eleanor Fattal for a relaxed still-life drawing session in their local studio. 

Sister duo Ruth Fattal, a renowned bespoke fashion designer and El Fattal, a contemporary artist, are one of our Renew on Q project participants. Renew on Q activated vacant spaces on and around Queen Street and makes them available to local creatives and entrepreneurs. 

Their creative studio in the heart of Campbelltown features Ruth's haute couture collection of fashion, bridal wear and accessories, as well as El's original paintings available for sale. The space is also a working studio where customers can see the design and development process in action. 

About the workshop

This workshop is where fashion meets art.

The still-life drawing class will provide the opportunity to enjoy art, snacks and wine in a relaxed setting. The structure of the session includes:

• 20 minute snack and chat
• 70 minute drawing exercises and final drawing
• A glass of prosecco

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere as you sketch stunning fabrics draped on traditional dress forms and sculpted fabric.
