The library’s biggest event of the year, Comic Book Day, returns to the library on Star Wars Day. Dress up as your favourite character and join us as we celebrate all things comics and pop culture!

• Meet & Greet: Actor Matt Doran (featured in Star Wars, The Matrix, Home and Away), 10am - 11.30am, 1.30pm - 2.30pm 
• Draw Off Battle: Matthew Lin Vs Marcelo Baez, 10am - 10.15am
• Design Your Own Marvel Asguardian with Marcelo Baez, 10.20am - 10.50am
• 5 Minute Chibi Character Sketches, 10.45am - 11.45am
• Star Wars Trivia, 11am - 11.45am
• Cosplay Registration, 10am - 11.30am
• Cosplay Competition, 12pm - 1pm
• K-Pop Dance Class, 10.45am - 11.30am, 12pm - 12.45pm, 1.15pm - 2pm

Cosplay Competition Rules

1. Registration will be open from 10am – 11.30am on the day of the event. You can also pre-register online. Pre-registration will open from Saturday 20 April. If you've pre-registered online, please visit the Cosplay Registration Table on the day to have your name marked off the list and to collect your participation number.
2. There are three age categories: 12 years and under, 13 – 17 years, and 18 years and over.
3. All costumes and props must adhere to the costume and etiquette guidelines(PDF, 74KB)  found on our website.
4. Cosplay will be judged by professional cosplayers.
5. Cosplay competition will be held from 12pm – 1pm
6. Please arrive at the competition area 5 minutes before start time, ready to display your costume.
7. There are great prizes to be won.
8. The judges’ decision is final – good luck and have fun!
