My adoption fee has been reduced as I have been waiting for my forever home for over 60 days!

Kodah is eagerly waiting to become a cherished member of your family. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this beautifully natured, sweet girl?

About: Kodah is not just a pretty face; she's a smart, social, and playful girl with an affectionate & engaging nature. Kodah is a gentle & agreeable dog, who is friendly & happy.

She can be outgoing & excitable, but she loves nothing more than cuddles, treats, and playing with her favourite plush toys.

Ideal Home: Whether you're a first-time dog owner or a seasoned pro, Kodah is the ideal match for any household. From families, big or small, to couples & singles who mingle, she fits right in wherever she goes.

Whether you live in a townhouse, house, or sprawling farm, Kodah will feel right at home. All she asks for is a medium to large yard with secure fencing to explore to her heart's content.

Family: Kodah is a sweetheart who adores children of all ages. She's gentle, friendly, and always ready to play with her pint-sized pals. We do know that she previously lived with children.

Furry Friends: Kodah is open to meeting other dogs, but her manners need to be refined before any doggy play dates. For now, we would say best as only dog, just until we are confident her lack of manners won’t cause distress to another dog. She shows enormous potential to be social & playful with other dogs & we are going to assist her on this journey.

As we cannot test we are unsure how this girl would go living with or meeting cats/pocket pets - this would be up to the discretion of her new owners.

With a little guidance and patience, she'll be one very social girl!

Training & Development: Post-adoption training should be on the agenda for Kodah! Whether it's at-home training sessions or group classes, she's eager to become the best version of herself.

With a penchant for treats and a gentle demeanour, Kodah will be the perfect pupil during training sessions.

We always recommend post-adoption training whether it be at home or with a professional. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long & is a great way for you to bond with your new pal.

Play: Kodah walks like a dream on a lead, and her friendly demeanour makes every walk a great experience.

With medium energy needs, Kodah would love daily exercise/walks for her mental stimulation. Kodah is a perfect adventure buddy for the outdoor enthusiasts. With her love for exploration, she's ready to join you on hikes, runs, and any outdoor escapade you have in mind.

Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
