Meet Sparrow,
Sparrow is a reserved and shy kitten who is slowly learning to trust and explore the world. She’s still finding her footing, but she allows gentle handling and shows signs of blossoming with the right support. Sparrow would thrive in a peaceful home with someone patient and kind. Deep down, she’s loving and gentle – just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe enough to let her true self shine.
Sparrow would be suitable for most homes. She would make a great mate for kids and is open to meet children of any age just as long as they are aware of her needs.
Just like all kittens, Sparrow would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. She should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that she grows up big and strong. Sparrow is already litter trained, but it’s best to show her where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & supervised introduction, over a few days, to ensure that they have the best chance of getting along.

Post Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
