Meet the Stallholders On Q - September 2022

Meet the local dedicated Stallholders who showcase their products at our Handmade and Homegrown Markets each month.

The Handmade and Homegrown markets have continued to be a great success on Lithgow St since March 2022. Held on the third Sunday of every month for the community to visit up to 50 stalls and enjoy the activities and free entertainment.

Arts On Q- June & July 2022

Meet the amazing artists who participated in our Tenancy Takeover project.

Funded by the NSW Government's CBD Revitalisation Program, Arts On Q brought a range of creative workshops, installations, public art, artist talks, live music and an opening event night featuring a range of performance art.

The two week program included the Tenancy Takeover project where two talented artist's works were hosted in vacant shop fronts in Queen Street.

Wander On Q- April 2022

Thousands of people visited Campbelltown's City Centre in April for Wander On Q, an exciting multi-location event across three unique locations in the city. The city was lit up and filled with amusements, roving performers, a pop up bar, Forum Q dance performances, food vendors and loads of free family entertainment. This event was proudly funded by the NSW Government's Festival of Place program.

Thank Q It's Friday- April & May 2022

As part of the NSW Government's Festival of Place program, two Friday evening events were held in Lithgow street featuring a pop up bar, live music, roving entertainment and food trucks.

Handmade & Homegrown Markets On Q- 2022

March 2022 saw the pilot of Campbelltown's artisan and produce markets in Lithgow Street. Initially funded from March-May under the NSW Government's Festival of Place Program, the markets have proved to be a great success and planned to continue for the remainder of 2022. The third Sunday of every month community can visit the closed Lithgow Street for over 50 stalls, activities and free entertainment.

Seniors Festival On Q- March 2022

To celebrate Seniors Festival in the city centre, a morning tea was hosted at Forum Q catered by local cafes. Local seniors were able to enjoy some outdoor games and live music.

Valentines On Q- February 2022

Valentines On Q returned for a second year running in 2022 at Forum Q with a weekend of dessert truck pop ups, an instagram worthy 'love seat' installation and a night of Latino dancing, free roses and family activities

Christmas in the City On Q - December 2021

Lithgow Street Campbelltown was filled with festive cheer on Friday and Saturday evenings in December.

Featuring artisan market stalls, food and dessert trucks, entertainment, workshops and Christmas lights and decorations

Forum Q - November 2021

Street culture took centre stage in the heart of the Campbelltown CBD following the launch of Forum Q, which opened in November 2021.

The dynamic installation was a unique attraction on Lithgow Street, featuring a dance floor, reflective surfaces, seating and a stunning art mural as its centrepiece.

Forum Q was a collaboration between Campbelltown Arts Centre and local designer, dancer and all-round creative Feras Shaheen. He conceptualised the space as a hybrid art form between public art installation and recreation space for the community.

It is a space for people to gather, train, and create across multiple art forms including street art, street dance, urban photography, videography, street food, parkour, klapping, football freestyle, street wear more.

The space will feature a range of activations throughout 2021/2022.

Winter Nights On Q - June 2021

Queen Street is home to a set of diverse restaurants with a vibrant range of cuisines and flavours available.

Friday nights throughout June, Queen Street was filled with live music, street performers and winter treads to celebrate Winter Nights On Q.

The event encouraged our community to head out and experience some of the newly renovated spaces on Queen Street, while enjoying food from one of the many local restaurants nearby.

Beats and Eats On Q - May 2021

Beats and Eats On Q transformed Queen Street into a hub for foodies and music lovers.

Flavours of traditional cuisines from around the world were available, showcasing the range of restaurants in the precinct including Afghan, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Thai and Japanese.

Crowds also enjoyed street performances from musicians and dance artists, drumming workshops, and played large-scale games in the plaza space.

The event also featured a mini Eat Street where people could grab dessert after their dinner and dancing.

On Q Play Space - May 2021

In May, the newly installed kids play space On Q was launched with some pop-up library events including National Simultaneous Story Time, face painting and a pop-up library.

Seniors Morning Tea - April 2021

On Q celebrated the 2021 Seniors Festival with live music, entertainment, morning teas and tours of the historic Glenalvon House.

Kids On Q Easter Holiday Fun - April 2021

Lithgow Street was transformed once again into a creative kids alfresco workshop space during the Easter school holidays.

The Campbelltown Bush Care Team ran insect investigation workshops and koalarama workshops for this environmental themed program.

Easter Twilight On Q - April 2021

The Easter Bunny knew exactly where to visit when Lithgow Street was transformed and decorated with an Easter themed "instagramable" installation. Everyone's favourite ice-cream truck was also on hand to deliver indulgent desserts to enjoy.

Valentines On Q - February 2021

Romance was alive and well as Lithgow Street was decorated with a pop-up Valentines themed "instagramable" installation.

Indulgent desserts, including waffles, gelato, cannoli, cheesecake, pancakes and more added to the atmosphere.

Twilight on Q - February, March and June 2021

The first Thursday evening during February, March and June provided the perfect opportunity to unwind after work and learn a fun new skill.

Alcohol ink design, macrame, ceramics and floristry workshops provided hours of laughs and entertainment.

Kids On Q Summer Holiday Fun - January 2021

Kids ruled in January as a range of creative workshops took over the Lithgow Street On Q space throughout the January summer holidays.

There were boomerang decorating workshops, rainbow messy play days, Koalarama workshops, and messy play days for minis (toddlers).

Christmas On Q pop up lunch markets - December 2020

On Thursday lunchtimes throughout December, a pop-up artisan Christmas market transformed Lithgow Street, providing the perfect opportunity to get your Christmas shopping started.
